our halloween weekend was relatively tame. we had a bigger group that dwindled down to just a few of us, so the plans changed dramatically. we just ended up hanging with mike and amy at a bar. i decided on my desired costume too late to do anything about it, so it’ll have to wait till next year. i had a rock star wig, and put it to good use. nicki had devil horns. amy, then, it seems, was possessed, as you can see here:

we went to goebbert’s farm, out in barrington, on sunday, with amy and sheila. we were there long enough to buy a few random pumpkin-related products, and to drink some hot cider. it was a beautiful day.

another halloween gone, and already the christmas stuff has appeared in every store. apparently thanksgiving no longer matters. anyway, we’re looking forward to the holidays! bring ‘em on!
